Affiliate Disclosure

1. What is an Affiliate?
MyTraderScore, operated by Robot Mouse LLC, works with independent affiliates — traders, content creators, YouTubers, newsletter writers, and others — who promote MyTraderScore to their audiences. When someone clicks an affiliate's unique referral link and subscribes to MyTraderScore, the affiliate earns a commission.
2. FTC Disclosure Requirement
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), affiliates who promote MyTraderScore are required to clearly and conspicuously disclose their relationship with MyTraderScore whenever they share a referral link or recommend our product. This disclosure must be made before the referral link and must be clear and easy to understand.
3. Required Disclosure Language
Affiliates must include a disclosure statement similar to the following whenever promoting MyTraderScore: "Disclosure: I earn a commission if you purchase MyTraderScore through my link, at no additional cost to you." Or an equivalent statement that clearly communicates the affiliate relationship. The disclosure must: - Appear before or near the affiliate link — not buried in footnotes - Be in plain language that a general audience can understand - Be visible without requiring the reader to click, scroll, or expand content - Not be hidden in a list of links or obscured by formatting
4. Our Commission Structure
MyTraderScore affiliates earn a 40% commission on the first payment from each referred subscriber, followed by a 15% recurring commission on every subsequent renewal for the lifetime of that subscription. Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal for balances over $20. PayPal fees are paid by the affiliate not by Robot Mouse, LLC or MyTraderScore.com
5. Cookie Duration
When a user clicks an affiliate referral link, a tracking cookie is set in their browser for 30 days. If the user subscribes within that 30-day window, the sale is attributed to the affiliate. If the user already has an existing cookie from another affiliate, the most recent click takes priority (last-click attribution).
6. No Cost to Subscribers
Affiliate commissions are paid entirely by MyTraderScore and do not increase the price paid by subscribers. Subscribers pay the same price regardless of whether they use an affiliate link.
7. Refund Policy and Commission Reversals
If a subscriber receives a refund within the 30-day money-back guarantee period, the associated affiliate commission will be reversed and deducted from the affiliate's pending balance. Commissions on refunded transactions will not be paid out.
8. Prohibited Promotion Methods
Affiliates are prohibited from promoting MyTraderScore using the following methods: - Spam — unsolicited emails, messages, or comments - Misleading claims — false statements about MyTraderScore's features, pricing, or results - Trademark bidding — bidding on "MyTraderScore" or "Trader Score" as keywords in paid search advertising without prior written approval - Cookie stuffing — any method that artificially generates referral credits without a genuine click - Self-referral — affiliates may not use their own referral link to purchase a subscription for themselves or others they control Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of the affiliate account and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
9. Affiliate Tracking
We use LinkJolt to track affiliate referrals and manage commission payments. LinkJolt sets a tracking cookie in the visitor's browser when they click an affiliate link. This is disclosed in our Privacy Policy. By using our website, visitors consent to this tracking in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. How to Join Our Affiliate Program
To apply for our affiliate program, email affiliates@mytraderscore.com with a brief description of your audience and how you plan to promote MyTraderScore. We review all applications within 48 hours. Acceptance into the program is at our sole discretion.
11. Changes to This Disclosure
We may update this Affiliate Disclosure from time to time. Continued participation in our affiliate program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated disclosure.
